Today, and yesterday, and many days before, it has been the greatest time ever! Everything has been changing for the good, and all the events happening in the intervals has just been amazing.
The reason why I say so, is because today we have no school because of a snow day. It's practically a miracle, considering Nevada never has this much snow in the valley, and in Fallon especially, it never lasts this long. It's continuation is a wonder itself.
I spent the last few minutes laying outside and watching the snow fall on me. Since the snow is so deep, I literally sunk in and it engulfed me whole. It's crazy!
The only downside is that I'm terribly numb, but it's all worth it :) And when I came back in, it never occured to me that the snow stuck on my clothes and boots would make such a mess in the house.... *Hopefully my mom doesn't see all the snow in my room when she gets back... It better melt QUICKLY!*
Anyways, as I said it's been a great winter. We've helped out in the community, as well as having some mini-adventures along the way, and the Christmas tree lighting was magical. Even though I was late by a few minutes ;)
Otherwise, yes, everything has been great! Wishes are starting to unravel quickly before me.
I only hope that your wishes come true as much as they are!
Enjoy the snow and of course the FIRST EVER DAY OFF FROM SCHOOL!
(Besides this, I'm completely mad because I got ready and got up early for nothing, otherwise now I can watch cartoon's, read a good book, and sip more hot cocoa.)

Simple beauty of snow
Tonight it's snowing here, and it's simply beautiful. Laying under the street lamp that illuminates the sky and street, it reflects the small white specks that fall gently down from the atmosphere. That simply is beauty and its just breathtaking.
Its one of those moments when everything around you feels so vulnerable and gentle.
Everything is great, either you're curling up in your bed with a hearty book, or you're outside cautiously watching your steps and admiring the crunch when your foot sinks into the ground, or just laying outside with your heavy jacket looking at the onfall of the flakes that reaches out to you, like an embrace.
Everything, and everywhere, it's covered in white frost. To me, it's a winter wonderland. A different world that's mystical in every way possible.
Whatever you feel, you have that sense of excitement build up, and that is a great feeling to have.
These simple pleasures all come and go, so it is best tojust enjoy it now it lasts.... Christmastime is always that time of change, mystical warm feelings, and when you hear that ringing sound thats indescribeable, but I associate it with snow, it makes you happy...
Sometimes I wish everything can have this feeling. But if it happened often, where would the joy be? That feeling would grow old. Otherwise, I just love it whenever a day like this... Its enchantment is as real as it gets, and I purely enjoy every second.

Curling up and listening to the rain
Today, for the whole day to be exact, it's been really beautiful.
For some reason, there's this feeling of somberness that overcame the day and that feeling and need to just relax and unwind. Just let your thoughts zoom in places, let everything, the cares, the business, everything go around without a care, and simply enjoying the moment.
Otherwise, yes, it is the last day of our vacation, and I spent it well on relaxing and having a bit of awesome fun here and there when I gathered my energy up.
As the day progressed, it started to have a slight breeze, and it's sort of a ritual for me, it's to go outside and just enjoy the cloudiness and what not.
It's quite beautiful, despite the chilly weather, to just sit outside and enjoy the breeze and weather. Some people don't necessarily like the cold, cloudy atmosphere, but to me it just urges me to cook Ramen soup, heat up the hot cocoa, curl up in the sheets and read a good book.
Also, it even has started to rain, and the drops of water are hitting noisily against the window. If it wasn't so cold, it would tempt me to leave my window open and let the scent of rain engulf my room. Now that would be the greatest thing ever.
Just laying there wrapped in a ball of blankets (yes, just like a cocoon! hehe) listening to the rain, and smelling the freshness of the earth always gives that feeling of being vulnerable. It's quite hearth warming once you know what it is. Just like earth is protecting you in some sort of way. Taking you in it's grasp and holding you with security, just letting you enjoy it's simple pleasures. Unique as it is, I love it. If only everything was like this, simple but also something that makes you happy.
Anyways, I hope all of you has enjoyed your Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving yaaa'lll!!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Wow, okay this is just crazy, it's ALREADY Thanksgiving, and it's almost Christmas! (Whoa!) Is it me or the holiday cheer is already setting in, and the warmth of the festivities is already coming towards us? Well either way, I'm glad.
Just know every one of you, that I am thankful to have you as a friend. Thank you all for being such awesome people!
Anyways, as for Turkeys and gravy, which were the main standpoints of Thanksgiving, the turkey was delicious! Absolutely delicious with the right amount of gravy!
And of course the wishy bone!!!!!! It took a while to actually find, but at least we managed to carve it out without breaking it (it was still holding on to a tendon probably).
GO THANKSGIVING WISHES!!! :)
I hope all of you had a safe, wonderful, and plentiful thanksgiving and I love you all!

IT'S SO COLD!!!! *brrrrrr*
Okay seriously, it's been really cold, and I can't stand it. Already, I am missing summer... *Actually since last month I've been missing summer*
It's kind of crazy. Now in the mornings, you can see your breath through the air. Before when it was pretty cold, it wasn't cold enough for you to see your breath. Now it's crazy cold, and it's not funny anymore.
Yeah, I'm excited for the festivities bestowed in a few weeks (technically two) and all the events that is coming up. But, it kind of makes me sad to see the leaves all gone and the tree's bare.... Ugh, summer is much, much beeeyotifulerz! *yes that isn't a word, but hey!*
Ohmygosh, Thanksgiving near! Personally, I love the pumpkins and the whole cliche' with the turkey, family gatherings, the corny orange and red sweaters (you know what I'm talking about, the ones that your parents made you wear at one point in your life for pictures. Yes, I have went through that hehe), and the smell of cinnamon *is the winnah monnn!*. That's my perception of the typical dinner, but it's quite warming when you think about it...
CHRISTMAS IS COMING UP! *clap clap clap clap CHEER* The stores has already put up the famous Santa Claus with a coke bottle (I don't know about you, but the holiday's aren't complete without that cardboard cut-out and the decorated cans) and I cannot wait to get a Christmas tree! It just lights up the whole house and the scent of pines that engulfs the room is very calming (to some), otherwise I love it. Especially putting on the decorations and seeing the warm lights glow from the branches, it's really fascinating.
But along with that, you have to think about those who don't have the privilege to recieve that warm feeling of looking at the lights and smelling the fresh tree. This goes a long with what is happening in the coming weeks...
In school, for Honor's Society, we are going to do canned food drives, and I'm really pumped actually. After what my English teacher/advisor said about the amounts of food that were given before, I'm crossing my fingers that maybe this year we can at least get a really good amount to make up for last year.
Also, we are going to start the AIM program, to help tutor kids in elementary school. It's going to be so much fun! I can't wait to have a new buddy, as well as motivate him/her to learn. Because, in this world, you need to at least be a role model for someone, and help them succeed. It's hard enough to see someone struggle, and I don't want whoever I get to struggle through this life.
There's so much going on, it's kind of hard to count up everything.
Hopefully more things come up to keep me busy ;) (omegee and there's Academic Olympics, which I am SUPER PUMPED FOR! Yayyyyy!)
Love you all!
And you have a warm awesome holiday!

A song that warms your heart
I have stumbled upon a song today, that is by one of my most favorite, beloved bands in the world. I was skimming through the channels and decided to listen to the Satellite radio, and there it was... Boys Like Girls featuring Taylor Swift. The song is called 'Two is Better than One', and it immediately melted my heart the second I listened to it. After is was done (it's around 4:09 long), I can't help but to think about that song. There's something particular about it, that just makes you blush to yourself, not in embarrassment, but rather in a feeling you get in your heart. For me it did that, I'm not sure about you, but whatever your reaction, I hope it was positive. *Note: You can listen to this song on my blog lol it's the first one in the playlist.
Anyways I just can't get it out of my head, and the feelings and connections it holds is vast itself. I can't even explain the feeling. With this song, you can probably connect to it one way or another, which is really good about it. For me, it warmed my heart, and left me with a giddy feeling of happiness and love. Somehow hope as well, if you listen to the lyrics.
And there's this other song that makes me happy (also in my playlist) is 'Fireflies' by Owl City!
For some reason, it just makes me feel like a little kid again. It gives you the sense of wonderment and curiousity as a child has, and to be honest, I truly miss that.
My friend and I say that it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside your tummy! Hey, it's totally true! GO WARM FUZZY FEELINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hehe, anyways, I hope you consider one of these songs, they're really good, and they can hold a special meaning to you! :)

Can't sleep, can't sleep!
Okay, for no apparent reason whatsoever, I cannot sleep tonight. Today has been one of the greatest days so far, I'm not sure why....
Maybe it's because of the sleet of rain that we recieved! For once we had a generous amount! I love the rain, especially just running through it without a care in the world. It gives you the sense of freedom and power against all odds. It's really thrilling, plus I love the water. I kinda have this urge whenever there is a downpour to let go of control a little bit and enjoy the moment while it lasts (which doesn't last as long).
Also, school itself has been pretty okay. So far so good really, just a little bits of hear and there anxiety of what grade I got, but yeah...
Anyways! Heres the awesome fun parts. Lately, our Sunday school has been uncommonly boring. For the past two years, they have been the funnest and outrageous experiences, and I would do anything to have them back, or at least trade anything for them, because really...... There is no fun incorporated whatsoever. And now we are planning a plan to decieve Mr. Boringness, and bring the fun factor back into play! It will be risky, but afterall, it will be worth every second.
And there is the excitement of just running around with just socks in gym class, (not to mention free foot massages from your buddy). It's actually easier to run barefoot across our gym, it's more easier and more convenient! And you can slip and slide across it easier without annoying screeches from your shoes....
So as I was saying, I am not a sleepyhead yet... (If you are wondering why I am even up, well I just have excess energy stored up. And I am excited for no apparent reasons whatsoever)
I may end up staying up a while though.
And for all who are wondering, I am not on the computer. I was kicked out looooong ago (well curfew) but hey, DSi's put you in a safer, warmer position than risking your privileges and sitting upright on a very very cold seat!
See you all later! Nightie night!
