Star Gazing

Tonight, I just can't help myself. I am outside with my DSi star gazing. The air is cool, and there is a slight breeze. The scent of the freshly watered plants and honeysuckle surrounds me and a distant chirp of a cricket is here. I love it. And the scent of the mint patch my mom has and the soft blanket over the grass, it's just like paradise. The rustling of the tree's is beautiful, like a symphony. Nature is so beautiful at night.
The stars are twinkling! This is kind of why I like living in a small town. Even if it's boring, at least I have the advantage of seeing what nature can offer. This is so beautiful! I am breathless right now. The breeze is just so perfect!
My mom was opposed to this because she believes there's evil spirits, but I am doing it either way. My dad said I could do so anyways. Luckily my mom is letting me though, as long as I have light. I can't explain how I feel. Vulnerable? Carefree? Safe? I feel safe with my thin blanket around me. And Bobo, my plush duck too. (or is he a chicken? Well either way he's Bobo!). I feel vulnerable. I feel intrigued! Especially with the quiet music from Secondhand Serenade I'm playing. Right now it's 'A Twist in My Story'
Otherwise it's beautiful. This may sound weird, but I feel sad. I'm not sure why...
It's just soooo relaxing. It really is a summer now. I love it.
And thanks Becki for that piggie flashlight. I'm using it right now so I can read. There's no moon out and the light from the house isn't enough and my DSi is running out of battery power. I just wanted to share with you this experience. It just popped into my head actually to do it. I am so in love! :P

Summer is ending? No way!

It came into my mind just today that summer is really, really ending. Okay, just like school. When school was ending, I was totally sad because, well it's like a transition. You are here in one spot, and then suddenly you are leaving that spot to another. And plus, I was going to miss my friends. Anyways, it's the same situation with summer. I'm going to miss the summer nights! Especially if they are super hot, I will miss them. And whenever it's cloudy and rainy, I'm going to miss those summer rains.
This summer has been truly awesome and fun for me. I discovered blogging! (Thanks to my awesome friends haha) And also I figured out a lot more about myself, kind of like self-revelation or something. It sounds pretty corny, but it's always good to know more, and more about yourself. Like your likes and dislikes. You can sort out a few things too.
And my trip to California? Oh my gosh it was FUN! If only there was a beach nearby... I always dreamed of going to the beach for summer vacation or something. It'd be really nice actually to just relax and lay on the sand. And not to mention the cute surfer guys (just kidding!) Oh! Speaking of surfing, one of my life goals is to at least go surfing. Even though I suck at swimming, I am up for a challenge.
Also I have seen some of my friends over the summer for get-together's and parties. Each of them was fun! Like the park! I chased around my friend after he poked me (it's a poking game we have) and I hung out with my besties. Also I got to see my friend who moved, which was really awesome. I miss her now....
Oh and the bowling alley! It was super fun, we scored for each other and just bowled randomly. It was really fun! And we had balloons to blow up that looked like giant fruit. Maybe if a giant were to see them, he would think it was some kind of pomegranate or a giant blueberry. Either way it was fun. And the pizza was extra cheesy. You would think that they have a huge inventory of cheese. Or maybe a dairy farm in their kitchen... Huh... Either way it was yummy!

OMG! I remember when summer started, I was soooo bored and soooo ready for school to start. It was hilarious! Just looking back at it, I feel kind of regretful. Just because I was so new to it, I never really thought about how I would feel when summer is over. Well obviously I know how it feels now.
Otherwise here is what I learned over the summer:
  • I still want to be a little kid at heart. I miss my childhood! (Which is ironic, I always wanted to grow up, and now I just want to be a little kid again and have fun)
  • Not to waste time. Time is precious.
  • Life is precious as well. You are only young ONCE in your whole entire life. You have to LIVE your life, and do the things you want to do. You have to be YOUNG and never try to grow up too fast. 'Cause you don't want to miss out on fun, and being young.
  • Have FUN in your life. Be a little bit more outgoing. Try stuff. And if there is a problem, just laugh it out. I learned this from one of my friends during our stay at the library... I got dared to hug the librarian, and I was hesitant, but he said that we can look back when we are 30 and laugh. And with this :you don't want to grow old and have to tell your grandchildren boring stories because you lived your life a little too cautiously
Those are just some of the main things I learned. *sigh* Summer is always the funnest of the fun during the year. Most of my happy memories either come from summer or school.
Like this one time I set up a time with a friend so we can meet up at the pool. Our parents didn't know, but when my dad seen what happened, I just told him it was a coincidence. :D
So this post is basically all about summer. Wow. Am I obsessed or what? Anyways in a way I am SO excited for winter though. Well Christmas. Not because of the presents (well kind of) but because it's cold and I love the warm feeling you get at Christmas and going to church every Saturday (that's when we usually go) it's just a nice feeling. More contemporary actually comapred to summer. Summer I'm more outgoing and free. Well actually year round I am, but more likely in summer.

Well I hope you had fun this summer!!!!

Total Drama Action

So there's this one show called Total Drama Action, which is the second season of Total Drama Island. It's some animated reality tv show where people compete for money etc, etc. It's like I Love Money from VH1 except animated.
Anyways I think that it's seriously hilarious. There is this one guy named DJ who is from Jamaica and he loves animals. He looks like he's pretty tough, but he LOVES animals, and he's kind of a sissy. He's probably one of my favorite cast members.
Well, there's this one contestant named Trent that is soooo crazy. He got eliminated because his ex got tired of him and there was accusations blah blah blah. It's a long story, but let's just say he was being very superstitious and annoying with Gwen (his girlfriend) There's a lot of drama, like in a soap opera or at school. Either way, its really hilarious.
Oh! And there is this guy Owen that LOVES to eat. He's pretty big, and he farts every moment. He's like a walking fart time bomb. Although he isn't physically fit, he's super hilarious. And did I mention he can eat ANYTHING practically? Like in the beginning episode, he ate a whole buffet of fake food. He ultimately won the challenge, but he got sick afterwards.

Well that was super random, but I just thought you needed to know about it. Especially if you haven't seen it. You should go see it every Thursday at Cartoonnetwork.
It's very entertaining, and of course they always play replays everyday. So you can catch up.

ROCKIN' FOURTH OF JULY!

My fourth of July has been rockin'! California is sooooo much funner than I had expected it to be. We went to this market and also we went to San Jose to visit my cousin's grave and along with that, we went to the Great Mall! So I got to eat in the Filipino fast food place called Jollibee, and I saw this super cute guy who looked like Taylor Lautner with lighter skin! :D
Then I walked around the neighborhood with my family and I am planning on playing with the doggies we have over here!!!
And we got front row seats to the ongoing procession of fireworks! Turns out it scared my aunt at first! Since they were doing it in the park, which my gandparents live by, we got a more louder and closer look at it.

Anyways I bought perfume and a Filipino shirt along with that.
I am just super excited for this week! It seems that everything is letting up and becoming awesomer and awesomer.

So anyways, I still really miss my friends! Ugh, its one thing to have fun, but without friends, it is not an adventure...
